JAWARI is a multi-disciplinary collective, core members include band leader Tommy Khosla on sitar, Gregorio Merchán on percussion, Taylor Frost on guitar, Billie Sophoclides on saxophone and Lagnajita Mukhopadhyay as poet. JAWARI draws on the eclectic musical and interdisciplinary backgrounds of its members, with an emphasis on the Indian Classical tradition.
